To maximise the use of swimming pools in Victoria, the installation of Solar Water Heating is the most efficient and economical way of extending the swimming season. It can increase the pool temperature by up to 12% and extend the swimming season significantly.

Heat Mobile is a simple heat exchange unit which utilizes the Sun's energy to heat small volumes of water, by circulating it through a solar panel, with the aid of a small pump.
The pump is powered from a 12 volt source such as your car battery by simply plugging into the cigarette lighter and thus uses very little power.
Heat Mobile will heat 30 litres of water up to 40 degrees celsius on a 24 degree day in approximately one hour. The hotter the day, the faster Heat Mobile will heat the water. (Conversely if there is no heat in the day, there will be no heat in the water).
Heat Mobile can be rolled out anywhere, on anything, at any time. as long as the sun is shining. Ideal for heating water for washing clothes, doing the dishes or a nice hot shower (a shower attachment is available).

Heat Mobile can be installed permanently on any roof or can be made-to-measure (on request) to suit particular campervans, caravans, trailers etc.
Bigger units are also available as well as an automatic controller to switch the pump on when the sun shines and off when it doesn't.
Heat Mobile hints for more heat:
- Keep the panel at right angles to the sun's rays.
- Place the panel out of the wind in direct sunlight.
- The less water in the drum, the quicker it will heat.
- Insulate the drum.
- Switch off when the sun is not shining.
